This is a uniform jacket or blouse as called by the Army during WW2. It was issued to an aviation cadet, and still has all the brass and patches on it. It seems the war ended before he finished school and a discharge patch was sewn on it. The jacket was also issued twice which was common for this era. There is no visible moth damage that I can see. This was so the soldier could still wear his uniform for a while until the civilian clothing shortage caught up with him. Good luck.
