Model M1917A1 reworked 1930-41
- We believe that this marking, stamped on the underside of the brim, stands for T Firth & Sons, Ltd. of Sheffield. They used variations of this mark from 1916-18.
- The helmet is in great shape with modified US strap,liner, buckle, & bales. There is a small leather-covered pad under the crown and the metal frame. The outside of the helmet is textured & non magnetic. There is obvious corrosion and dirt, but it should clean up nicely if it suits your purpose.
