The sturdy M-1907 sling proved so successful that it was again issued during WW2 to carry both the Springfield and the M-1 Garand. Otherwise, the sling is in fine shape, with no other damage to the tough brown leather construction. Most interestingly, it boasts fully intact brass \"claw\" sizing adjusters, sports both of the original brown leather sizing loops, and is unmarked as to its maker or date.
