US Army Special Forces advisors early in Vietnam wore a teal \"AIRBORNE\" tab above their SF shoulder patch. The design was quickly changed to the traditional black version, making any early teal tab rare today. This US Army Vietnam SPECIAL FORCES ADVISOR ID\'D EARLY TEAL \"AIRBORNE\" TABis in very good condition, with some black paper residue and brownish soiling at back from having once been glued inside an album, some small loose threads at the lower back left corner, and with some light scattered age wear evident (ALL pictured). Otherwise, the tab is in fine shape, with no other damage. Most interestingly, it carries \"AIRBORNE\" in yellow lettering embroidered on the classic teal base, and belonged to Major (then Captain) Clayton S. Scott III, Command and Control South (CCS) SOG veteran and battalion commander of II Corps Mobile Strike Force, 5th Special Forces Group in 1969.
