US Army troops in WW2 were issued a specially designed cap with a wool lined crown and fold down ear/neck flap for wear in extreme cold weather. This US Army WW2 EARLY M-1937 KHAKI WINTER CAP is in very good condition, with two spots of whitish soiling at the left back, some light scattered \"browning\" around the exterior, some scattered small spots of mothing along the right side of the ear/neck flap lining, a small spot of brownish soiling on the nomenclature tag inside, and with some light overall age wear evident (most pictured). Otherwise, the cap is in fine shape, with no other damage to the tough khaki 100% cotton construction. Most interestingly, it boasts a strap and buckle front closure, sports a warm wool lined crown and fold down ear/neck flap, and carries the original \"Phila Q.M. Depot\" government tag inside.
