US Army troops of WW2 were issued the classic M1/M2 service masks and M1VA1 carry bag for protection against possible chemical attacks. This US Army WW2 M1/M2 SERVICE MASK M1VA1 KHAKI \"KIDNEY\" SHAPED CARRY BAG is in near mint condition, with the nomenclature marking at the lower front having been \"blacked out\", \"MASK / RECONDITIONED / FOR TRAINING\" stamped fairly far above that previous marking, and with a few characters hand applied in white chalk at the right underside of the top flap (ALL pictured). Otherwise, the bag is in near mint shape, with absolutely no rips, holes, tears, or other damage to the crisp khaki canvas construction. Most interestingly, it\'s \"US\" stamped with serifs at the lower front, over the classic Chemical Warfare Service BOS insignia and the letter \"U\" for Size Universal, boasts a fully functional dual darkened brass \"lift-the-dot\" closure top flap, and sports fully intact khaki web chest and shoulder straps. It carries the traditional \"LOT\" numbers marked at the right underside of the top flap, and is a beautiful example of an originalUS Army WW2 M1/M2 SERVICE MASK M1VA1 KHAKI \"KIDNEY\" SHAPED CARRY BAG.
