US Civil War Model 1840R&CCavalrySaber with Scabbard.The ricasso is unmarked but the spine is marked \"R&C\"a german maker, Rohrig und Companie.Thegrip is very worn,90% of theleather grip is gone and95% ofthe twisted wire isgone.Theblade has not been sharpened,no pitting,it doeshavescratches from going in and out of the scabbard, and very small age spots throughout.The scabbard hassurface rust and has one dent on each side down by the drag.The leather washer is intact.
