WW1 SA 1911 Rock Island Bolo Hospital Corps Fighting Knife w/ Sheath

The blade is marked US 18727 and S.A. 1911 withordnancemark. The brass butt cap and screw on the end of handle are present, and the correct sheath with swivel hanger are also in excellent condition. This huge knife is ground from 3/8th in. thick high grade carbon steel and the blade is 12 in. long. The total length is 17 1/4 in. The blade has not been sharpened and still has almost all of it\'s original bright finish. The only flaw I can find is an area of light pitting on one side only as shown.
