This sale is for an extremely rare Otto Ulbricht Woodpecker nutcracker manufactured in the 1930\'s and featured in Ulbricht\'s original catalog (catalog shown here is not included for sale in this sale). You may know him better as the first tour bird manufactured by Christian Ulbricht in 1997 but this is the ORIGINAL from the 1930\'s and NOT the tour bird version. He stands 6 inches tall and still possesses the original Ulbricht stamp on the bottom of the base (although it\'s very faint). He has been repainted to return him to his original glory. Thiswoodpecker would make a wonderful addition to any nutcracker collection.
