This is the only Cooper Special sewing machine I have ever seen!
I believe they must have commissioned Union Special to build their machines, and added their own brand??
This particular machine appears nearly identical to the Union Special 9900 class of machines. I had one of those machines, and this Cooper Special is nearly identical. I believe this machine is a double needle zig zag chain stitch machine. Great for sewing garment or glove leather.
The machines is in nice condition for its age. It turns very easily, and all the various parts move freely. It appears there is a part missing that holds the needle bar... Perhaps other parts are missing? A mostly complete machine. A great candidate for repair, or use for parts?
