AMAZING HISTORICAL FBI DOCUMENTS!

Now unclassified and available for the public to view!!!

On the morning of June 12, 1962, guards at Alcatraz—a federal penitentiary opened in 1933 on a desolate island in San Francisco Bay—discovered that prisoners John Anglin, Clarence Anglin, and Frank Lee Morris had escaped. The FBI\'s thorough investigation, which lasted for nearly two decades, was unable to determine whether the three men successfully escaped or died in the attempt. The files begin with the breakout in 1962 and continue through December 1979 when the FBI closed the case.

Over1,700 pages in all, (in PDF format on CD Compact Disk).the documents provide tons of interesting materials about the investigation including cool stuff like inventory of their prison cells, evidence of the escape, letters from the public, testimony and reports and phone conversations and more!!! Fascinating stuff.Document copies are fantastic research items and are courtesy of Freedom of Information Act and are best possible copies available. Measure 8 1/2x11 inches if printed.
