KratvilleApprox. 100 pagesThis Operating Data Book is primarily designed as a collection of mechanical charts and specifications from the archives of the Motive Power & Machinery Department of the Union Pacific. Such data was used in maintaining the system\'s locomotives. The diesel and turbine charts are the last available and are still in use.Since the publication of Motive Power of The Union Pacific, several unpublished photos of the system\'s power have been unearthed. These pictures, plus many other enlightening ones, have been included so that this book, while an invaluable supplement to the first volume, is complete unto itself.Numerous requests for additional mechanical information have been received from modelers and others interested in U.P. locomotive development. In response to this interest and need, a concentration of detail photos of the most requested parts of U.P. locomotives have been included. In addition, the highlights of several eras of the system have been brought out in more detail than was possible in the first book. A large quantity of highly technical material has not been included in this book because of the author\'s desire to compile a source and reference book of mechanical specifications that anyone can easily use.The finest cooperation possible was given by the Union Pacific, particularly the Motive Power and Public Relations and to the following we give our heartiest thanks, E.
