Unique, Beautiful & Rare Victorian SetteeThis Settee is 55+ years old and belonged to my Mother. I\'m not sure on the actual age of the Settee, I estimated the age of the Settee by my age..it was part of her home as long as I can remember and I\'m 55 years old. I have no idea of the value of this Settee.
The Settee is in excellent condition, especially considering the age of the Settee. The fabric is original to the Settee and the Cherry wood has never been refinished. The fabric has minor wear, since we\'re never allowed to sit on this piece when we were children. It was used in my Mother\'s formal living room..which, should have been called a picture room..since we were never allowed in the room. The fabric has NO wear pattern at all. No rips, tear or stains on the fabric. The Cherry wood has a few minor scratches that could easily covered with a Cherry stain.The Settee is very sound and sturdy.
