Unique Merchant Trade Token Die Washington State Here we have an unique (only one known) obverse die from the early 1900s, H.B. PEARCE / MAYTOWN / WASH. It is made of steel and measures 19mm in diameter with the shaft being 27mm long. Pearce must have been a very small time operator from Maytown, Washington, as I was only able to find a single specimen listed in Token Catalog Database as #26673. The token pictured here was borrowed from that site. It mentions that token was sold for $165 in 2010. That's big money for a merchant trade token from the 20th century!
