UNIQUE reversible antique quilt.This lovely gem is from the mid to late 1800s and is 2 quilts in one as it is reversible. There is a flying geese pattern on one side and Hole in the Barn Door (Monkey Wrench~Churn Dash) on the other side, it is entirely hand stitched and hand tied.This is a wonderful heirloom piece made of fine delicate cotton prints in multi colored prints in reds, pinks, greens, blues, madder browns, off white & gold.The fabrics in this quilt are outstanding!! I have never seen one like this before and who knows when another onewill be found again!!! This quilt is in pretty goodcondition for its age there are a couple storage spots on the Monkey Wrench sideand on the flying geese side some of the fabric triangles areshowing wear,and several are in need ofrestitching, there are no holes, there is wear on the binding along the fold(as shown).Please enlarge photos for more detail.
