Hardwood roll top desk and chair that we brought to the US from Australia. Both roll tops work, and roll top locks with keys work. Includes 2 drawers, 6 desktop letters trays, 6 form drawers and 1 pull out writing surface.
We bought it after it was used as a prop in a TV movie filmed in Australia around 1985. We were told that it was a train station masters desk from late 1800\'s/early 1900\'s. It is a hardwood, believe it is made of oak.
An impressive yet functional piece that will draw attention in any room or business lobby.
The desk top detaches from the base to help in moving it.
