Fascinating and unique Victorian necklace showcasing operculum shells (quite popular at the time).The beautiful shells (look at the colors carefully) are all a little different.They are collet set in a silver colored metal - not marked, so possibly sterling, but not marked.Around each shell is ornate wire filigree - very lacy.Necklace measures 18\" in length. There is a hook fastener.Excellent condition - the shells are lovely and the wire filigree is in great condition (no breaks).A welcome addition to any Victorian jewelry collection.Customer satisfaction is important to me, so please email me with any questions or problems.
