Offered for sale is an exquisite Murano chandelier which hung in my friend\'s parents\' house for decades. The father passed away and the mother had to move, so I\'ve been helping with the sale of furniture and furnishings. The pictures of the chandelier hanging were in the entry of the home in New York. Now it has obviously been taken down and I\'ve photographed it partially disassembled. I was told it was purchased in New York and made in Murano, Italy.
The chandelier looks to be in good condition. I don\'t see any cracks or chips in the crystal. All the pieces seem to be present and accounted for.
I am estimating shipping and will attempt to pack it myself. If it turns out that I cannot do so without concern for the integrity of the piece, I willhave to take it to beprofessionally packed and we can discuss that when the time comes. I do think that if I take the arms off (I will do so ever carefully), I can safely pack it for shipping and save you a lot of money by doing so. In addition, if the packing and shipping is measurably less than the actual cost, Iwill make refund of the difference to you. I don\'t like to overcharge on shipping.
I was in the house when the fixture was taken down. As you see it was working fine by means of a switch on the wall. I am not prepared to take thisitem back so please be sure before you offer and/or buy.
