This Sea Holly thrives on neglect! It loves sun to part shade, and it\'s only flaw is it doesn\'t like wet feet, so don\'t plant it where water tends to puddle. Once the plant is established, it seems to be on it\'s own. It does best in poor soil, little water, and baked conditions. Spiny, prickly texture, striking flowers, drought and deer resistance, all make this plant truly unique! When transplanting your seedlings, care should be taken with the tap root. These make excellent cut flowers and also great for drying.
