Very Nice Condition and Lots of great detail on this well made all metal clock with a copper wash by United. The animation is the driver of the cab moves his whip up and down to get a faster pace from the horse who looks like he is in motion. Sits on 4 ball feet. This clock has been totally restored and serviced, an $80 value.
The SHADE, REIGNS, LIGHTCAP and WHIP are ALL ORIGINALS.! Very scarce with all the parts. The reigns however were repaired, you can see in the pic on the back by the horses neck. Very hard to find reigns intact, they were treated with conditioner to bring back the suppleness. but if ever a problem, Included in sale will be a set of Reproduction reigns. Same as originals which were gold and turned green.
Brass bezel and convex glass crystal. Clock is signed on backplate. Has a switch to turn the light in the lampost on and off and there is a lever by the drivers leg to turn the animation on and off. This one has some small blemishes on the base otherwise beautiful condition. Look at the pics and you decide, it runs flawlessly.
