Gorgeous two-tone (yellow gold / steel) chronograph from Universal Geneve, with panda dial, Reference 284.465.

Hodinkee sold one of these a few years back for $3,800. won\'t allow me to link to it, but if you Google \'Universal Geneve 284.465\' you\'ll find the page. Has a pretty good writeup about the reference as well.

Excellent condition overall. Case measures 37mm (not including crown/pushers) and has previously been polished (see pics). Dial / hands are excellent, plexiglass crystal has minor scratches which are only seen in bright lighting. Chronic pushers are slightly oxidized. Includes a service bezel in steel/dark burgundy, as the original gold/black sapphire bezel cracked (see pics) - this will be included with sale of course (perhaps you have a watchmaker who can fix the original gold bezel).

Includes box but no papers. Please note also, the ‘keeper’ (loop) on the aftermarket leather strap has fallen off - I’ll leave it to the buyer to replace the strap as they see fit. It takes a 19mm.

Keeping very good time (+6 seconds in the day I timed it) and all chronograph functions operate as they should, although I do not know the service history.
