Offered here is a very unusual antique brass combination inkwell, magnifying photo frame and paperweight modelled as a storm lantern. The hinged \'chimney\' of the lantern raises to reveal a glass inkwell insert and the handle (which may originally have locked in the upright position) has pen holder hooks, the magnifying lens housing is slotted to hold a photo and the whole piece is heavy enough to function as a paperweight. The \'lantern\' stands 5\" in height, 7\" with handle raised. It is in nice condition as per my photos below (The lens housing lacks a securing pin at one side but stays in place during normal use.) A great looking desktop piece which displays very well and is offered here with a low price start and .
