A wonderful and most unusual figural desk bell made from cast brass with an unusal clapper operated from the lever at the top of the bell, the lever signed G.P.F. Depose.

What makes this a particularly unusual and highly collectible example is the figural column supporting the bell, a Cherub or Putti figure.

Victorian in era, dating to c.1880. Excellent condition with a base diameter 3\", standing 5 3/4\" tall.
