Mounted with a broad lightly curved blade having one wide and one narrow fuller to each side, lower spine bearing partially worn struck maker\'s mark, traces of etched decorations on the blade. Blade and iron hilt mounts both exhibit nice gray patina and very fine pitting throughout. Solid and overall intact on this very nice and scarce early cavalry saber, used through the War of 1812 era and Napoleonic wars era.
