Renowned naturalist artist Pat Ford was commissioned to design this series of steins. All the steins were made in Brazil by Ceramarte. Each lidded stein is 8 1/2\" tall and has an intricate ceramic relief, which surrounds a full color rendering. The rising pewter lid is engraved with a detailed acorn and oak leaf design, with a pewter acorn forming the thumbrest.

CS 316- 1997 Ruffed Grouse lidded stein #2,527 of 5,000CS316- 1997 Ruffed Grouse lidded stein. This series showcases the exquisite illustration by naturalist artist Pat Ford, In this first edition, a detailed center illustration brings the ruffed grouse to life, featuring both the male and female in their natural setting. Other upland game birds appear in relief around the stein. A rising pewter lid is engraved with an acorn and oak leaf design, and a pewter acorn forms the thumbrest.

The beautiful illustration at the center of this 3rd edition in the Upland Game Bird series, depicts the wild turkey in its natural Environment. Three turkeys, two females and one male, are showcased in an exquisite fall setting. The artwork, portraying every detail of the wild turkey, is encircled by other upland game birds in deep ceramic relief. An acorn and oak leaf design decorates the lid.CS 337- 1998 Prairie Chicken lidded stein #1,707of 5,000CS337- 1998 Prairie Chicken lidded stein. This 8 1/2\" lidded stein was made in Brazil by Ceramarte. In this 4th and final edition of the series, artist Pat Ford beautifully depicts the prairie chicken-both male and nesting female-in a full color illustration at the center of the stein. Surrounding the main graphic are other upland game birds in ceramic relief. The stein is topped with an intricately etched pewter lid and thumbrest in an acorn and oak leaf motif.
