Fair condition original Uruguayan Model 1895 Mauser bayonetthat was used with the rifles produced by FN in Belgium and is a copy of theBelgian Model 1889 Mauser bayonet. 11 3/4\" blade has brown and gray metalfinish with a little scattered pitting. Remaining metal finish is originalbright with some brown and gray. Wood grips show some wear and chips. Lockbutton functions fine. Fitted in correct original numbered leather scabbardthat has brass throat and tip. Leather is soft and supple with some normalwear, stitching and staples are nice and tight. A tough to find UruguayanMauser bayonet in any condition.
