Vintage US Navy USN Naval Air Facility Mayport (Florida) Large Brass Plaque - triangular brass plaque for Naval Air Facility Mayport (Florida). In 1988, NAF Mayport was redesignated (upgraded to) Naval Air Station Mayport. As such, this plaque was produced prior to 1988.

Overall condition is excellent--design includes naval aviator wings, silhouette of an MH/SH-60 helicopter, an outline of the state of Florida, 3 stars, and an anchor chain border.

Plaque is currently rigged to hang as is without a need to mount on wooden plaque/backing. It can easily be remounted on wooden plaque if desired.

Dimensions: each side of the triangle is 9 inches in length. Top to bottom height (top straight edge to point at bottom) is 7-1/2 inches

Weight is 4 lbs.
