This sewing machine runs smooth & quiet, the light comes on and the needle seemed to react to different settings, as it should. I tried to thread the machine (never done that before) to see if I could sew a few stitches, but the thread bunched up. It may need an adjustment or else I just didn\'t thread it properly. That is the extent of my testing. I don\'t sew & really don\'t know much at all about it. Machine should be gone through & lubricated before putting it to full use, because I don\'t know how long it has been setting up (might be ready to go, but it would be smart to have it checked out first).My low opening offer with should allow plenty of room for any adjustments or maintenance, if needed.
Machine includes: Hard Case, Soft Cover, Various Attachments, Foot Controller, User\'s Guide & Detachable Sewing Table. The Knee Operated Presser Foot Lifter IS NOT included. Those are available on-line for about $30-50, if you feel that you need one. It will allow you to have free hands, while moving the fabric as needed.
