Used - Pair of JBL SR4732 speaker cabinets from a professional sound company inventory.
We have had these for quite a few years. We got these when a friend wanted to get out of the sound business, so we bought his gear which included these, and some other things. We didn\'t really use them much ourselves because we already had a number of proprietary 2x12 cabs in our inventory.
We mainly kept these as back ups, and used them maybe twice a year when we were doing a couple festivals with four or more stages. We haven\'t done those festivals five years, so these speakers have been sitting on a pallet on a high shelf in our warehouse.
We are hoping that someone out there can put these to good use, enjoy them, and maybe use them to generate income for themselves. We don\'t need them anymore for our rental operation.

If you Buy It Now, then we\'ll throw in 2 caster plates that will help you move them easier to gigs. They are not included if this is sold through the sale process.
Condition:Used - We bought these used a long time ago from a friend who used them in his nightclub, and then later to do one-off shows. After we got them from him, we used them sparingly, and they have just sat on a pallet rack as back ups for the last five years.
Check out the photos. This set of cabinets are in pretty good shape. There are the usual scuffs and scraps but nothing major. There are a couple fingernail sized nicks in the carpet covering.
The metal grill is intact, but the rubberized black coating is starting to get a little tacky, and it could use a cleaning. All the plastic corners are in place, and intact.
There were some modifications made to make these more usable in a professional setting.
The previous owner installed SpeakOn input connectors directly to the back of the cabinets. The 12 inch drivers are wired in parallel to pins 1+/1- , and the HF horn drivers are wired through the internal factory passive crossover to pins 2+2-. This makes these cabinets active 2-way, with the internal passive crossover from the 2 inch driver to the UHF - \"super tweeter.\"
You\'ll therefore will need to provide a bi-amped feed to these guys, but they sound much better this way. Weusually used a 1,200 to 1,500 Hz crossover point. The former 1/4\" input connectors were removed from the plastic dish on the back, and the holes were simply taped over.
We added a medium sized Penn Fabrication metal bar handle to the top of the cabinet. This was to utilize the handle for sitting the cabinet on our style of custom caster plate. This makes it much easier to move these cabinets around. No hand carts are needed, each cabinet can have their own wheels. Remember the cater plates are only included if you purchase the speakers by using Buy It Now.
We tested this in our shop, and everything works. These cabinets sound good, and they are ready to be used.
