Attention all Marines and Marine Corps patch enthusiasts! Check out this fine pair of Marine Corps Sergeant Stripes! Essential for updating the uniform or completing that USMC Chevron collection! Also great for a shadow box or mounting on a career plaque!

These are gold on red for wear on the Marine Dress Blue uniform coat, and are standard size for male Marines. They’re “new-in-package,” current regulation with over-the-edge (merrowed) stitching. (These chevrons are offered for the benefit of veterans and others who don’t have access to the regular supply chain.)

It’s a Marine Corps tradition that ALL Marines are riflemen first, regardless of their MOS, and all must qualify in rifle marksmanship. This is symbolized by the crossed rifles under the chevrons in the enlisted ranks.

These chevrons are BRAND NEW and still in the package (but may not have the same packaging depicted.)Produced by Vanguard. Embroidered on red felt-like cloth with merrowed edge and slightly-stiffened backing. Colors are clean & bright. See ruler in photo for size comparison.

Please note: Shipping chevrons internationally works best when sent one pair at a time. Therefore I do not combine shipment on chevrons to countries outside the US. Even so, I think you’ll find my international shipping charge ($1.55 to Canada, $2.00 to all other countries) to be reasonable.

Packaging & Reliability:

My flat-fee shipping structure covers cost of packaging and postage, and is a best-guess estimate for size and weight of items. It\'s not an exact science. (I have not raised my shipping fees over the years, despite several postal rate increases.) Items ship in zip-closure poly bags to protect from moisture. Patches usually ship as First Class letters, but multiple items may ship together as a parcel.

In my experience, the track record of US Postal Service delivery within the US is practically 100% reliable. I may at my discretion choose tracking and/or insurance for shipments of a certain value. But the best insurance you can have is to make sure you provide a current and correct postal delivery address, and to check your mailbox regularly.
