When purchasing chevrons please be mindful of gender! These chevrons are MALE, but I sell both kinds. If you purchase the wrong ones by mistake please let me know ASAP. Same rank is same price in either gender. A mistake can be easily fixed if you let me know before shipping. Less easy to fix after item is already out the door. (Also, hope it\'s understood that gender can\'t be determined based on buyer\'s first name.)

Using my normal shipping method (USPS Ground Advantage with tracking), chevrons almost always arrive within 2 to 3 days in the US. These are gold on red for wear on the Dress Blue uniform coat, and are standard size for male Marines. They’re “new-in-package,” current regulation with over-the-edge (merrowed) stitching. (These hash marks are offered for the benefit of veterans and others who don’t have access to the regular supply chain.)

These chevrons are BRAND NEW and still in the package (but may not have the same packaging depicted.) Produced by Vanguard. Embroidered on red felt-like cloth with merrowed edge and slightly-stiffened backing. Colors are clean & bright. See ruler in photo for size comparison.

My flat-fee shipping structure covers cost of packaging and postage, and is a best-guess estimate for size and weight of items. It\'s not an exact science. (The flat fee is still significantly less than my actual cost for postage.) Items ship in zip-closure poly bags to protect from moisture. Items ship as trackable USPS Ground Advantage parcels within the US.

In my experience, the track record of US Postal Service delivery within the US is practically 100% reliable. I may at my discretion choose insurance for shipments of a certain value. But the best insurance you can have is to make sure you provide a current and correct postal delivery address, and to check your mailbox regularly.
