Chalkware is first poured into an antique chocolate mold, then the 3-dimensional Santa is beautifully hand painted with oil paints. Particularly compelling are the eyes on the faces of each figure, which display a richness of emotion completely hidden when the pieces were molded in chocolate.A Christmas CLASSIC - Made from one of the most interesting contemporary moulds to date, Judi Vaillancourt has taken careful detail into account when designing this Vintage-inspired Red Santa riding the Dapple Grey rocking horse.
