Beautiful Peek-a-Poo cookie jar designed by Ruth Van Tellingen Bendel and made by Regal China. This cookie jar is quite scarce. Less than 2000 of these were ever made and it has a book value of over $1300.00. It is a large piece, standing 11 1/2 inches in height and weighing exactly 4 pounds 1.4 ounces. Condition: Near mint, free from damage with little if any signs of use. There is a very small paint flake or blemish on the right ear, black marks on the unglazed rim under the head, two small raised paint drops under the glaze on the back side and some minor wear and marks on the bottom unglazed edge (see pics). It really is in amazing condition and does not appear to have been used.Many pictures so you can see for yourself the wonderful condition this piece is in. A real treasure to add to your cookie jar collection!
