VERY Early MIB set 10 all bisque comic character doll figure place card holders:

Here is a very rare and hard to find, unused (still in original divided packing box) set of ten individual, antique circa 1920s, all bisque hand painted, early cartoon character, nodderdoll figures made as place card holders with molded slit in each base for insertion of name card. They each measure about 4\" tall with strung (swivel)heads and rounded base with a molded slit to hold a name card. If you are very familiar with these \"old-time\" comic characters it would be fun to insert cards identifying each of them.These highly unusual items were designed to be placed at a party table with the name of each guest on a card to designate their seating place. They are still packed in their original store display box with blue stamp on the bases: made in Japan. Their painted colors are as bright and clear as the day they were originally manufactured and will certainly make a wonderful cabinet or wall display for any collection, especially if you line the back of the display with old printed comic strips.They are in excellent condition with no damages or repairs, no worn or flaking paint and no odors as they are from a smoke free home. The Snow White set of all bisque figures (in last photo) is not included and listed separately.
