painting: 31 x 39 inchesprovenance: previously with SothebysExtremely large Flemish Old Master oil painting, depicting the Biblical account referred to as \'The Last Supper\". The painting dates to the 17th century and has an old sale label from Sothebys attesting to that fact.On this large scale, it is a thoroughly impressive work and will make a tremendous impact and statement on the wall.
Condition report:The painting has been relined, obviously, with the original canvas lifting in parts from the relined support. Deep crackle and crazing to the paint, as one would hope and expect.

Having dealt in paintings before the advent of , we fully appreciate buying a painting online can be different than in person. Thus, we aim to mention everything known about a work and include detailed photographs of each area of the painting, including the back.
