VERY LARGE BROWN VINTAGE BAKELITE BUTTON. BRASS ROMAN SOLDIER HEAD.:

This large vintage Bakelite (tested) button is topped with a brass escutcheon depicting a Roman head and an openwork border. It has an embedded wire shank. It measures 1 3/4\" in diameter and is about 1/4\" thick (NBS size large). The escutcheon is mounted slightly off center, but the button is in great shape. A very dramatic design for a vintage Bakelite.
