This is a good example of an U.S. Revolver Holster Model 1909 which was designed to house the Colt .45 Revolver as well as the Smith & Wesson Model 1917. It is marked \"U.S.\" on the front and on the back side \"G & K\" (Graton & Knight) along with the date \"1917\". The leather shows a little wear with scuffing, otherwise is supple with all the stitching intact and remains in good, serviceable condition. Measuring 11 inches tall by 5 inches wide.
