VERY NICE VICTORIAN MINIATURE CARVED BUFFALO HORN SNUFF BOX:

This is for a very niceand very well made little snuff box from the mid to late 1800s. It is hand mademade from buffalo horn and its a really tactile little box, you have to have it in your hand i think to really appreciate this one. All the detail onthe boxis superbly done, really nicewith really neat lines, and cleverly raised centraldiamond shaped cartouche on the lid, the box opens and closes smoothlyand lines up perfectly, it also hasa nice richpatina to the finish. It is a really nice little box and its in absolute excellent condition with no damage to it anywhere. It measures 44mm x 32mm and stands 14mm tall.
