This is such a cool and rare find. It took lots of research to figure it out, then finally we found the cover with the label from underwriters lab inc that listed the emergency safe ventilator info. Still when researching, did not find its duplicate. Diebold made lots of safe and banking items and this was one of the first ways that tellers and others could survive being locked in an air tight vault. I included pictures with and without the cover, showing the light, and fuse. The handle is pulled and turned which opens a hole in the back and it indicates to push the button to talk to anyone outside. I believe this also triggers a fan to bring in \"ventilation\" or fresh air. I included an article I found about why this item was made. I have no knowledge if it is still working, as u see the wires would have been wired into the bank or vault wall. But it seems to be in very good condition. It was awesome to find this in an estate buy out!! It is very heavy and will have to be shipped ups unless you want to arrange pickup. Please ask if there is anything else I could help answer...
