this looks like a very good quality old bowie knife, makers name and address on the blade as seen, it measures about 12 3/4 inches long, not sure if maker is J WILSON or I WILSON. it comes with a leather scabbard which has a metal liner, not sure if these are original to the knife, but they protect it well. im told the wood is a special wood, but i forget the name, surely a rare old collectors knoiofe which displays well.
