This is a very rare vintage color called CHESTNUT that was only made 1 year in 1965! However, very few water bottles were made in this special color.I have collected Blenko Water Bottles (vigorously) for well over a decade and this is the only example I have seen of this color, or otherwise.It is definitely one of the rarest colors I own of vintage Blenko Water Bottles, which I collect. And one of the rarest colors out there. I challenge you to find another!I love the pre 1990\'s colors the most and especially those made in the 30\'s through the 60\'s, and even more so those made from about 1937 to 1947 which we collectors
refer to as \"pre designer\" water bottles because they were made before Blenko hired their first resident designer (Winslow Anderson in 1947). These early water bottles
that we call \"clunkers\" are usually very thick and heavy glass with a shorter or more stubby appearance due to the way the pour spouts are shaped. They are often full of seed bubbles (and larger bubbles) and have a lot of crudity which I just love. It is the consensus among us collectors that Mr. Anderson did a redesign of the water bottle because those made after his debut are almost always less thick and taller with less stubby looking pour spouts.I decided to part with this one because I have no room to display the color schemes I want too and this color is somewhat of an odd ball that doesn\'t fit in with what I am trying to do with my collection.Use the zoom feature when viewing the pictures.The shipping prices includes insurance.

Since it is hand blown there may be some very minor imperfections that occurred at the factory, but no damage.
It is in perfect condition! No haze or stain either. No stones or impurities in the glass.It is of course hand blown glass which gives much beauty to the piece.Looks good in an average lit room or even better in a window.It measures 8\" tall, 6-1/2\" wide, and 3\" deep.Please view the pictures as they are part of the description as well.
