Hello and thank you for looking!Up for sale, is an extremely rare and very unusual tinplate, battery operated Mercedes Benz 190 SL (R121 series), made in GREECE by KB / KiBi , during the mid 1960\'s. A truly beautiful toy, with an interesting history.
The Car is about 23 cm. long, and around 9 cm. wide, and is based on the German made Huki model; all proportions match perfectly, and the basic bodyshell shape, is exactly identical; however, this Greek made version of the Car, features different liveries (this one is a racer variation), has \'bump & go\' action, a driver figure, and plastic chrome details. This was shortly produced by KIBI, since production switched to plastic toys, one this toy was introduced.
The Car appears to have been lightly played with, since there is some chromewear and a couple small sctaches on body, some slight deterioration staining on baseplate; however, it is complete, (with the exception of the windshield, which is probably a replacement), functional, very clean, and displays wonderfully
Overall, a greatexample of this very scarce, unusual andattractive vintage 190 SL modeltoy-one of the very few remaining survivors-make sure you don\'t miss out!

As of August 12, 2013, the Greek postal services have set the minimum weight bracket for any item shipped, at 0.5 kg. (500gr.)

-Shipping across the E.U. would take anywhere from 3-8 days, across the U.S.A. could take up to 2 weeks, depending on how long they\'re being held in the customs.
