You will get a nice Purity Water of Homested just like the one pictured!!!!!! It is the just like the center bottle in the first picture.

please note that some of these have small flea bites from being buried, they came out of a dig. I do not sell bottles with cracks so be assured that this bottle will have no cracks. It may have some dirt because I can\'t put an hour into cleaning and only charge $15 for a rare find.

Did you ever wonder why people from certain areas called soda, \"pop\"? There is an ongoing debate about when the term \"pop\" was first used to describe carbonated soda and I\'m not the one with the answer. What I do know is this is why it is called \"pop\" in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania which was once the steel center of the world and thousands of these bottles of \"soda pop\" were consumed by thirsty steel workers before they hit the many bars which lined the streets of Homestead and Pittsburgh to consume beer.

GO STEELERS!!!!!!!!!

A wonderful example of a Hutchinson developed by a Chicagoan named Charles Hutchinson in the late 1870\'s. This particular bottle is appoximately6 3/4\" in height and aqua colored. This type of bottle didn\'t last very long as the stoppers were made of zinc, brass or iron and corroded quickly and sometimes sickenedthe drinker. By the mid 1910\'s this bottle dissapeared from production to be replaced with the modern bottle cap which is still in use today.
