DescriptionA one off exceptionally rare life sizeblack forest cat music box. This is a truly fantasticand very naturalistic walnut carving capturing every detail and angle of this wonderful cat, carved by one of the master carvers. With realistic yellow and black glass eyes. Most likely a commission piece for a wealthy Victorian cat lover. I also have other black forest carvings for sale.

ConditionThis black forest cat is in very good condition with working music box. There are some wood shrinkage splits, the largest on the belly, there are 3 wood knots that have also shrunk over the years. This is all listed for full accuracy and is in keeping with the age of this carving.
PostageI package every item extremely well and have not had any breakages to date. However, I do recommend posting via Royal Mail Special Delivery. This is because they are the only UK service to offer protection for damage on ceramics and glass.
