Description:
For your consideration is this stunning very rare art deco duo \" Rosea \" produced by Royal Doulton. Both pieces have a backstamp for the c1923-1927 plus the name and a No: V1437.
Featured on white china are these stunning pale blue flowers with yellow and orangejewelledcentres. Thefoliageis green and there is black detail. Thepattern appears on the inside of the cup and the handle an foot are finished in a lovely matt pale blue that has been trimmed in black. The edges are trimmed in a lovely blue. This set is very similar and reminds me of the \" Iceland Poppy \" that was produce by Paragon. Both Pieces have a beautiful ring when lightly tapped and the photos do not do any justice to this stunning set.
Thecup measuresfrom rim to handleapproximately 11cms and is 7cms in height. The saucer measuresapproximately 14cms in diameter.
Thiswould make a superb addition to any collection. Please view allphotos and excuse any camera glare.
Condition:
The duo is in very good condition. The blue trim is in excellentcondition showing hardly any wear, if none at all. There are nochips, colour/pattern loss, cracks or restoration & no apparentcrazing.
