Description: This sumptuous publication, produced to the highest editorial and publishing standards of the Survey of Persian Art contains superb color photographs by Japan\'s leading art photographers. Each photograph is reproduced by the finest color printing available today, letterpress, with each color plate painstakingly matched to the original object to record the subtlest nuisances of the fine Persian color aesthetic. There are some 640 plates, 404 of which are in color and over one hundred of these are full page. Includes the map insert.

This hard-to-find copy of \"A Survey of Persian Handicraft\" by Jay and Sumi Gluck is a signed keepsake. This exceptional book is a rare find and a great value for the serious collector.

Condition: This hardcover book is ingood to very goodcondition. There is minor wear on the dust jacket (see picture). The hardcover has some disintegration on the edgesdue to aging (see picture). The inside pages are in very good condition with no writing, no bent corners, no tearing, no highlighting, and no creases. Nopages are loose or missing. The binding is tight. Note: there are some discoloration spots on the page edges due to aging.
