THE RAREST OF THEM ALL! Vintage Kartell red double-wide plastic modular sectional book shelf unit designed by Olaf von Bohr in 1969 in Italy and manufactured in USA. Cool, adjustable shelving was only in production for six years (1969-1975.) Shelving is well documented and is in major museums around the world (last photo an exhibit at the Dolce & Gabbana showroom in Milan featuring this book shelf style) Unit is in overall fair/good vintage original condition with tons of scratches and marks (being plastic and 40 years old) but no cracks or chips or repairs. sale includes 8 shelves and 12 uprights in two different heights. 9 shorter and 3 taller. Shelves are 32.5\" x 11. LOCAL PICK-UP ONLY. I AM 25 MINUTES OUTSIDE OF MANHATTAN.
