VERY RARE WW1 IMPERIAL GERMAN ARMY M18 HELMET & LINER. 100% ORIGINAL:

A very rare & 100% original WW1 Imperial German M18 helmet with liner (chinstrap absent). It is in excellent used condition. (These models made in 1918 had the chinstrap mounted to the liner with no lugs riveted to the inside apron). The air-vent-lugs indicate a size 64 & this is the only size produced by R. Lindenberg A.G., Remscheid-Hasten. This manufacturer\'s stamp is a bell with \"L\" & 64 (pic 8) a very seldom found manufacturer\'s stamping. There is a production stamp inside on the crown, (pic 7). The shell retains most of its original factory field-grey paint, please study pictures. The leather of the liner is in fine strong condition. The three cushions from each segment are absent & look to have been removed a very long time ago (perhaps by owner for comfort & fit). All three tie-ribbons & pockets for these cushions are present.
