Up for sale is a Beautiful & Unusual bisque doll with a prominent décolletage or chest area.This early doll is also unusualbecause of its elongated Neck& Body and almost looks like todays version of a runway model with its tall sleek look= Boudoir or French Fashion? She is beautiful and herface hasnice detail and workmanship with blush colored cheeks, finely done red lips, and what looks like eye shadow. She has a very delicate nose with molded nostrils slightly accented with red and a dimple in her chin. Both legs are marked \"Germany\" and have elongated indented lines in them, that give the appearance of white hosiery, and grey painted molded button shoes. The arms and hands are also well done with bends in them that resemble a mannequin look.The back shoulders are marked \"5845 Germany\". The bent arm is marked \"5842 Germany\", is secured to the shoulderin all 4 spots, and thepinky fingeris broken. The straight arm is marked \"5843\", is secured to the shoulderin 2 of the 4 spots, the pinky finger is broken and there is a small chip on the middle finger of this hand. Therest of the bisque of thisdoll is in excellent condition with no damage. The body is made of early cloth and shows some toning. The legs are stitched onto the body securely and the upper torso has a pin through the bunched up cotton positioned under the décolletage to hold it there while the entire figure is held together with 4 pieces ofthicker gaugewire which extendsfrom the top of the head to the bottom of the shoes (two down each leg). She measures approx. 11\" tall and comes complete with brown hair (which could use some styling) and has come unglued from thetop of her head.
