Beehive Escutcheon

Here as a buy it now is one Victorian (or later) pattern, traditionalcast brass beehiveescutcheonkeyhole cover which is in goodusable condition.

This cast brass beehive escutcheon keyhole cover, can be used to accompany door locks (rim locks, mortiselocks) and handles. The escutcheon has a top cast brass cover in a behive design, the cast brass back plate has the key hole. On the back of the back plate is stamped J C & S D574.The escutcheon does have signs of wear, scratches, and knocks, which is to be expected in an item of such age(please see photographs).

The escutcheon measures approximately 21 mm (13/16\") wide, and 70 mm (2 3/4\") high.
